Facilitator.

As a theatre facilitator, I have led workshops for Little Angel Theatre, Trinity Community Arts, and Good Chance Theatre, as well as schools and community groups. With six years of experience working with children and a valid Enhanced DBS, I specialise in drama, puppetry, and creative expression for diverse groups, including refugees and underserved communities.

My workshops cover:

  • Lecoq Pedagogy: Mime, Movement, Ensemble work, and Mask, adapted for secondary schools.

  • Puppetry: Bunraku, Object Theatre, Walkabout Puppetry, Shadow Puppetry, and Puppet Making for children and families.

These skills in physical theatre and puppetry are excellently adapted to participation facilitation. I have adapted these skills to lead workshops with isolated communities and young people.

Evaluation: I work as a facilitator for Pudding (https://www.pudding.org.uk/about), facilitating post-show conversations to understand the impact of performances. My work with Bath Spa University on the Emergent Value Research Project is invaluable research to understand the impact and meaningful value of live theatre through audience participation. This work explores how people interpret their experiences and how they feel about the events. It supports organisations and theatre companies to develop their evaluation processes.

I design playful sessions that encourage teamwork, confidence, and creative expression. My approach fosters curiosity and inclusivity, offering participants a safe and imaginative space, regardless of their circumstances.
