About
I am an interdisciplinary theatre maker, puppeteer, and facilitator from Somerset. I am a founding member of theatre companies Carré Ciel and Compagnie de l'Ogre.
My theatre practice is deeply physical, translating the breadth of the human condition into visually spectacular storytelling for children and adults. Rooted in the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq, my work embraces collaboration, creativity, and a space for mess and opportunity. I am a puppeteer with a love for large-scale puppetry, inspired by projects like Little Amal and Royal de Luxe. I thrive in unconventional theatre spaces that foster public engagement.
As a disabled and neurodivergent artist, I prioritise accessibility and inclusivity in my work. I run workshops incorporating the Lecoq pedagogy and puppetry techniques, adapted for diverse groups, including isolated communities and young people. As a facilitator I have lead workshops for Little Angel Theatre, Trinity Community Arts, and Good Chance Theatre. I am currently developing creative projects for prisons and hospitals. My sessions encourage teamwork, confidence, and curiosity, creating safe and imaginative spaces for all participants.
My work with Bath Spa University and Pudding is to facilitate post-show conversations and research to evaluate the impact of performances. My research into audience experiences supports theatre companies and orgainsation in developing meaningful and integrated evaluation strategies.
In 2023, I graduated from the two-year professional course at École Jacques Lecoq in Paris and their scenography course, LEM (The Laboratory for the Study of Movement). I hold a first-class BA Hons from the University of Exeter, where I was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Exceptional Performance.
